In today's digitally-driven world, cyber threats have become an ever-present reality. From phishing scams to data breaches, the importance of cybersecurity cannot be overstated. Recognizing this crucial need, the MN State IT Center of Excellence has launched a new community-based training program, "Becoming Cyber Savvy", aimed at demystifying cybersecurity and empowering people with practical tools to protect themselves online. This initiative is not just about understanding complex technical jargon but about providing simple, actionable advice that anyone can follow.

 

The "Becoming Cyber Savvy" program offers numerous benefits to participants:

  • Virtual Training Sessions Schedule

 

To ensure accessibility for all, "Becoming Cyber Savvy" training sessions will be hosted virtually. Sessions will take place on the following schedule:

 

2nd Thursday of the Month: 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM (UTC)

4th Thursday of the Month: 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM (UTC)

These convenient timings allow participants to choose the session that best fits their schedule. Please see the list of events on our main page to register.
